What you can expect as the AOG Regional Manager at West Star:

 

The AOG Regional Manager will oversee the AOG technicians, processes, and workflow in their assigned regions. He/she will work closely with the AOG VP, AOG Controllers, AOG Chief Inspector, and other business unit leaders to effectively manage the AOG business and meet its goals.

 

You will be ESSENTIAL to many FUNCTIONS including:

  • Perform annual reviews with input from AOG Controllers
  • Work with AOG controller, billing team, and technicians for work order reviews
  • Monitor the coordination of manpower with AOG Controllers
  • Manage the AOG Technicians’ holiday and paid time off
  • Implement, train, and manage processes related to the business.
  • Manage the tooling, equipment, and consumables.
  • Assist in managing the AOG vehicles.
  • Manage offices and storage locations
  • Managing airport badging
  • Foster and maintain a professional relationship with AOG Technicians
  • Work with the AOG leadership team to drive the business to meet its goals
  • Manage AOG Technicians to maximize full labor utilization.
  • Assist AOG Controllers in project managing large AOG events
  • Assist in setting up new AOG locations
  • Effectively and clearly communicate (i.e., speak, write, read) in English

What you’ll need to bring with you:

 

Your Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent required

Holds a valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant License

 

Your Experience:

5+ years in Aircraft Maintenance on various corporate aircraft

Management experience in building and leading world-class aircraft technicians

Working knowledge of Corridor, Cost Accounting Management, Microsoft Office, MS Project, and similar type desktop software applications highly preferred.

Attention to detail and strong organizational and communication skills, both written and oral

We’re looking for a team player who is self-motivated and able to perform in a fast paced environment where working under specific deadlines and time constraints will be common.

Attend work every day as scheduled to include overtime, travel and weekend assignments

Must perform all work in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration guidelines

Follow all company and safety rules during performance of duties

Maintain customer oriented work habits

Direct the work and flow of multiple projects

Physical Requirements                        

Lift at least 70 lbs.

Routine walking, bending and squatting or sitting

Routing or repetitive physical motion with arms and hands

Basic personal computer operations especially with Apple and Microsoft products (Outlook, Word, and Excel)

Work in confined spaces
