Raytheon is seeking a Capacity Program Manager (PM) for the AIM-9X Missile portfolio. The Capacity Program Manager will manage the capture and execution of all efforts associated with increasing AIM9X capacity and throughput capabilities, both internally at Raytheon factories and with our supply base.
The quickly expanding customer base, both DoD and FMS, and the need for increased inventories is driving a demand signal that will almost double the current throughput expectations. This position requires proficiency in leading dynamic, cross-functional teams, managing high visibility projects, and driving communication of project goals, objectives, decisions, and results to team members, customers, and leadership.
The Capacity PM will be responsible for regular senior customer interfaces as well as key partner & supplier interactions. The Capacity PM is responsible for removing barriers and defining solutions that support the overall program. This position will work across all Raytheon functional organizations, Raytheon off-sites, and supply base partners to staff the program and ensure the timely start-up and delivery of products and services in accordance with the contract(s).

What You Will Do:
- Manage and accelerate over 50 program opportunity projects supporting production sales growth of $500M/yr in 2027
- Support strategy, cost estimates and supplier proposals to develop and complete AIM9X capacity expansion milestones
- Lead quarterly capacity focused meetings with the USN and internal leadership
- Execute PM cadence (battle rhythm) such as risk review boards, schedule performance reviews, customer reviews, program management reviews (PMRs) to achieve contract commitments.
- Partner with the Production, Sustainment, and Development teams to leverage shared resources and bridge any gaps between the organizations.
- Display strong communication, influence management, and presentation skills, and comfortably interact with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels of leadership.
- Establish and maintain a positive team culture.

Qualifications You Must Have:
- A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years’ experience
- Prior Program/Project Management experience
- Prior experience working with or supporting the Aerospace or Defense Industry
- Prior experience with financials, budgets and analysis
- Prior experience with Project Management tools or systems
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Raytheon Program Management certification at level 6, or ability to achieve within 6 months.
- Strong proficiency in partnering with matrixed organizations in a DoD environment.
- Proven track record of customer relationship building.
- Experience with project management tools and/or systems, driving results through IMS
- Experience leading cross-functional teams preferably in the Aerospace and Defense industry.
- Experience balancing technical, cost, and schedule constraints.
- Experience managing schedule execution, either internally (factory-focused) or externally (with or supply base)
- Experience in financial management related to project scope and budgets to complete
- Working knowledge of EX/IM, EVMS and Security requirements.
- Prior experience supporting development, production, and/or sustainment programs, preferably in the aerospace and defense industry.
- Working knowledge of contract formation, execution, and management.
- Proficiency with RMD Program Management tools or similar program management systems.
- Active Top Secret security clearance.

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
