Job Description:

The Structures Mechanic will fabricate, modify, inspect, repair, and maintain structural components and assemblies on aircraft while ensuring compliance with manuals, regulatory requirements, and safety procedures. You will troubleshoot and repair composite and metal structures, remove and install aircraft components, conduct inspections for hidden damage, support complex repairs on or off the aircraft, operate ground support equipment, assist with wing removal and reinstallation, fabricate parts and metal fixtures, perform mechanical and electrical component removals and installations, support off-site maintenance activities, collaborate with other maintenance disciplines, and perform other duties as assigned.

* Tools: Required Education & Job Requirements
* High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
* A minimum of 4 years of structural fabrication experience or substantiated equivalent experience.
* A minimum of 1 year of experience on corporate aircraft.
* Completion of Sheet Metal Aircraft Technician School or equivalent training.
* Ability to interpret and work from mechanical engineering drawings.
* Basic proficiency in PC and computer skills.
* Ownership of a basic set of hand tools with the ability to demonstrate inventory and control.
* Ability to obtain Ground Support Equipment (GSE) qualifications as required.
* Ability to work unscheduled overtime, including weekends and holidays.
* Ability to work outdoors in seasonal and inclement weather conditions. Job Duties & Functions
* Adhere to general work requirements for factory, shop, and hangar positions.
* Comply with environmental health and safety policies and procedures.
* Participate in 5-S activities and perform work in a safe and timely manner.
* Troubleshoot, inspect, repair, and perform maintenance on aircraft.
* Fabricate and modify structural components and perform structural repairs on composite components.
* Remove and install aircraft components as required.
* Conduct or assist with inspections for hidden damage on aircraft structures.
* Support and/or perform complex structural repairs on or off the aircraft.
* Perform and document work in compliance with manuals and regulatory requirements.
* Operate ground support equipment as required.
* Repair or assist in the repair of aircraft components.
* Perform mechanical and electrical component removals and installations.
* Inspect confined areas of the airframe.
* Assist with wing removal and reinstallation as needed.
* Design, modify, and weld metal fixtures as needed.
* Fabricate parts for ground support equipment.
* Assist with aircraft towing.
* Collaborate with other maintenance disciplines.
