  • Pay Rate: $26.94 per hour

Role Overview:

As a Sheetmetal Tech II, you will operate under general supervision to perform various tasks in sheetmetal layout, fabrication, and installation, ensuring all activities meet company and regulatory standards. This role is critical in maintaining the structural integrity and aesthetic standards of aircraft.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Fabrication and Installation: Perform precise sheetmetal layout, fabrication, and installation tasks using specialized equipment and tools.

  2. Blueprints and Specifications: Follow detailed blueprints and standard operating procedures to cut and form materials accurately.

  3. Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and 5S standards, ensuring a clean and safe work environment.

  4. Quality Assurance: Work closely with inspection teams to meet internal and FAA quality and documentation standards.

  5. Continuous Improvement: Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes and techniques.

Requirements:

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required.

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in sheetmetal and/or fabrication experience.

  • Certifications: Valid Driver’s License; experience in aerospace preferred.

  • Skills: Proficient in using tools and equipment for sheetmetal fabrication. Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and documents.

  • Physical: Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds, work in confined spaces, and climb ladders or stairs.

Pay Details: $26.94 per hour
