Under limited supervision, performs electronic, electromechanical or mechanical production sub-
assembly and assembly operations to build up and assemble units of moderate complexity by performing
the following duties. CANDIDATES WILL BE USING A TEST STAND TO TEST PRODUCT. COMPUTER SKILLS ARE A MUST

NEED** 16 - 1st Shift (hours) and 5 - 2nd Shift (hours)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
-Works from production/assembly instructions, parts lists, wire lists, diagrams, verbal instructions and notes to assemble, wire and install a wide variety of components.
-Identifies and selects components to be integrated into subassembly and assembly units.
-Utilizes small hand tools such as soldering irons, wire strippers, crimpers, wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, and hammers.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
-High school diploma or general education degree (GED); one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
-Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
-Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
-Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
-Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent, and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

REASONING ABILITY
-Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
