Job Description:
The Quality Assurance Representative will be responsible to assist the Quality Assurance Program for E-6B Contract Logistics Support. They will work with senior management to maintain Quality Assurance and safety programs, including policies, processes, procedures, and controls. Ensures contract performance conforms to established standards and Government agency guidelines, guaranteeing lasting customer satisfaction. This position will work closely with the Quality Manager, Quality Systems Manager, and Supplier Quality Assurance.

Essential Functions:

  • Assist in the management of all Quality Assurance programs for the E-6B.
  • Ensure adherence to and compliance with established company quality policies, practices, standard operating procedures, and government regulations.
  • Advise program on quality control standards and opportunities for improvement.
  • Ability to conduct Quality Management System Audits, writing detailed quality reports, processes, and procedures that affect the E-6B program.
  • Advise program on quality control standards and opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide oversight for the development and maintenance of quality programs to include an understanding of Ground Operations Procedures, NAVAIRINST 3710 Series, and CNAFINST 4790 Series.
  • Conduct quality and safety inspections/audits of contract operations and subcontractors.
  • Ensure compliance with company programs, FAA, Government directives, airworthiness directives, and aircraft configuration control.
  • Ensure corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and that documentation is compliant with requirements.
  • Develop, implement, and manage processes to ensure that employees meet required specifications for quality, function, and reliability.
Job Requirements:
Qualifications:

  • Quality Assurance experience preferred (Aviation Field is a plus).
  • E-6B experience preferred.
  • Experience with Government Operations Procedures (GOPs), NAVAIR 3710 Series, and CNAF 4790 Series.
  • Ability to pass a background investigation and obtain a Government Security Clearance.
  • Must be able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
  • Must be able to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Must be able to recognize or identify the existence of a problem as well as elements of a problem.
  • Ability to create, enter, retrieve and print from software packages such as Excel and Word.
Physical Requirements:

  • Must be physically able to perform duties and responsibilities of the classification.
  • Must be able to work with required materials without debilitating irritation to skin, eyes, or respiratory system while wearing the required personal protective equipment.
  • Able to work in a warehouse environment.
