Job Description:

Position Purpose

This position assembles, alters, and/or repairs fabricated and aluminum products. Must also be able to diagnose and repair small engines and rolling equipment. Willing and able to work long hours and travel as required to meet company requirements.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Weld standard and exotic materials using the TIG, MIG and oxy acetylene processes.
  • Set up and equipment depending on material and thickness.
  • Inspect welds as required. Achieve and maintain task qualifications for all work performed.
  • Work in a team environment and follow Companys Guiding Principles.
  • Perform housekeeping and other organizational requirements.
  • Perform Lean, Standard Work and Continuous Process Improvements.
  • Assist in new product development by turning a concept into a prototype thru Research & Development.
  • Fabricate/Repair steel and aluminum products.
  • Perform routine and unexpected maintenance on equipment.
  • Maintain appropriate inventory levels.
  • May work under minimal supervision.
  • Communicate professionally via phone or email on a consistent basis. Practice good verbal and written communication as required to communicate with team members.
  • Operate a CMV w/trailer to support field operations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in TIG and MIG welding. Fabrication experience required.
  • Certification to AWS D17 and/or Mil-Std- 2219 preferred.
  • Two-year vocational welding degree preferred.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required. Valid Driver license required.
  • Class A air brake restricted CDL preferred.
  • Work 40 or more hours per week as directed (overtime, weekends, etc.)
  • Travel domestically and internationally as directed. Drive company vehicles or rental vehicles as directed. Work with hazardous and non-hazardous chemicals and products to perform required tasks.
  • Have the following qualities: promote safety, ethics, punctuality, honesty, team player, work alone or with others, positive influence, detail orientated, critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to obtain a US passport.
