The Mechanical Assembler position requires an individual to be detail oriented and flexible, and must be proficient in reading and interpreting basic assembly instructions
The individual will not only be responsible for assembling hardware and components but must be available to assist in any other areas in the plant as needed, including cementing, shipping, testing, etc.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

•tProduces components by assembling parts and subassemblies.
•tReads and deciphers blueprints, and assembly instructions.
•tUses hand tools or machines to assemble parts.
•tCleans and maintains work area and equipment, including tools.
•tPrepares work to be accomplished by reviewing parts lists and gathering parts, tools, and materials.
•tPositions parts and subassemblies by using templates or measurement devices.
•tAssembles components
•tKeeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturers instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, and alerting APUL for repairs.
•tMaintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
•tDocuments actions by completing production and quality forms.
•tAdheres to safe work practices and contributes to the evolution of the health, safety, and environmental program and culture,
•tRegular, predictable attendance is required;
•tOther duties may be assigned.
