We have an immediate need for a Maintenance Technician to join our Facilities team. You will be responsible for supporting our manufacturing and engineering teams by performing maintenance and repair tasks on optical equipment and systems. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with skilled professionals, leverage advanced technologies, and contribute to the success of Raytheon ELCAN.
What You Will Do
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facility infrastructure, utilities, and production support equipment to maintain safe and reliable operations.
- Troubleshoot and repair building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, compressed air, and general facility equipment.
- Execute ticket and preventive maintenance activities through the computerized maintenance management system, ensuring tasks are completed on schedule and properly documented.
- Support facilities and production improvement projects including equipment installations, facility modifications, and workspace reconfigurations.
- Collaborate with Facilities, Engineering, and Operations teams to resolve equipment issues, minimize downtime, and maintain operational continuity.
- Maintain safe work practices and ensure compliance with company procedures, environmental requirements, and workplace safety regulations.
Qualification You Must Have
- 3–5+ years of hands-on experience in maintenance, building operations, or industrial facilities within a manufacturing or technical environment.
- Practical knowledge of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical systems, and general facility infrastructure.
- Experience performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting equipment failures, and completing repairs on facility or production support equipment.
- Ability to read technical manuals, equipment documentation, and basic mechanical or electrical drawings.
- Strong problem solving skills with the ability to respond quickly to equipment or facility issues affecting operations.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with Facilities, Engineering, and Production teams on maintenance activities and projects.
- Knowledge of and compliance with the Occupational Health & Safety Act and internal EHS policies
- Demonstrated commitment to Raytheon ELCANs values: respect, trust, and team collaboration

The salary range for this role is 44,000 CAD - 80,000 CAD . The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
