Roles and Responsibilities
Evaluate teams performance on all three shifts and provide coaching to develop and enhance technicians skills
Represent Maintenance and Facilities Team in customer-facing reviews and meetings
Foster collaboration between internal teams and external vendors to achieve operational excellence.
Coordinate with the PM Coordinator to develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules for facility equipment and infrastructure.
Ensure timely completion of all preventive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
Track and analyze maintenance data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Manage relationships with outside vendors providing electrical, plumbing, and maintenance services.
Negotiate contracts and ensure vendors deliver services on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
Conduct regular evaluations of vendor performance and address any issues promptly.
Oversee the Crib Attendant to ensure proper inventory management of tools, spare parts, and consumables.
Implement inventory control measures to reduce waste and ensure availability of critical items.
Conduct regular inspections of facility infrastructure (e.g., HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems) to identify and address issues.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
Implement 5S principles to maintain cleanliness and organization in facility areas.
Collaborate with pensioners to leverage their expertise in facility upkeep and special projects.
Lead initiatives to improve facility operations, reduce costs, and enhance efficiency.
Utilize lean principles to identify and eliminate waste in maintenance processes.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years maintenance/engineering experience)
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze data, identify issues, and implement solutions.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and external vendors.
Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
