Roles and Responsibilities

• Execute/lead engineering activities related to mechanical design development and maturation of turboprop engine on turbine

  airfoils

  • Design optimization to improve durability, cost and weight of owner hardware

  • Address components producibility challenges

  • Support of engine certification (certification reports evaluation)

  • Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks

  • Participate as an author and presenter in technical and program reviews

  • Formulate and implement tasks/project plans, monitor and report status

  • Collaborate with other teams across disciplines and organizations, including hardware suppliers

Required Qualifications

• • Bachelor/MSc in Mechanical Engineering

  • Experience in engineering design process of machine components

  • Knowledge of materials, manufacturing methods and strength of materials

  • Experience with technical documentation (drawings, 3D CAD models)

  • Strong communication skills, including English language (spoken and written)

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a challenging and dynamic environment under time pressure
