- Sufficient knowledge and experience to carry out the accountabilities and duties listed above
- FAA Airframe and Power Plant license
- 2 years of general maintenance training or equivalent experience with make and model helicopter/engine
- Pass FAA/DOT drug test (pre-hire and randoms)
- Legal US work status
- Current US driver’s license
- Pass a DOT Physical
- Must have a minimum of six months of helicopter maintenance experience during the past 24 months.
- Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs and climb ladders.
- Requires the ability and/or willingness to work days, nights, weekends, and in remote locations on a 3-weeks on, 3-weeks off basis.
Note: Winco management reserves the option of hiring personnel with less than the minimum qualifications when, in the opinion of Winco management, the applicant has demonstrated the responsibilities, abilities, and good judgment required by the operation).
Mechanics must be self-sufficient when conducting remote operations and must possess mission support capabilities, basic computer skills, and record-keeping skills.
The mechanic must become knowledgeable of the contents of the: Winco Operations Manual, Winco Environmental Health and Safety Manual, FAR, FAA Regulations, OSHA Standards Rotorcraft Flight Manual, Manufacture’s Maintenance Manuals and Bulletins, Airworthiness Directives, and other information necessary to perform his duties.
