Role Overview:

As a Final Line Mechanic II, you will play a crucial role in installing and adjusting aircraft parts and systems, ensuring all installations meet our rigorous quality standards. You will work in a team-oriented environment that values collaboration and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Component Installation and Adjustment: Assemble, install, and adjust various aircraft structure parts and system components such as control cables, engines, and landing gear.

  2. System Repairs and Replacement: Perform necessary system component replacements and adjustments, ensuring conformity to specifications.

  3. Quality Assurance: Ensure all parts and assemblies meet quality standards and specifications, performing rework as necessary to meet quality goals.

  4. Equipment and Tool Operation: Utilize a range of tools and equipment, including permaswage pumps, dies, and line cutting tools, to perform tasks with precision.

  5. Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate logs and records, update necessary documentation, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required.

  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of aerospace/aviation experience or equivalent mechanical experience such as auto mechanics or heavy equipment. A&P license preferred.

  • Skills: Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematic diagrams. Proficient in using specialized tools and equipment for aircraft assembly and repairs.

  • Physical: Must be able to climb ladders, work in confined spaces, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Pay Details: $28.75 per hour
