Position Summary
Installs & repairs equipment and performs operations to support the Haverhill facility to ensure the reliable operations of production equipment.
Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:1.Assists in all functional operations activities in the maintenance of the Haverhill facility.2.Ensures all spare parts are available to repair and maintain all the facility’s mechanical requirements for production equipment.3.Estimates and orders for various jobs.4.Responds to emergency calls for power, fire, gas and security.5.Provides input and assistance for all safety requirements.6.Operates machine shop equipment to help support manufacturing and maintenance needs.7.Operates fork truck and scissor lift as needed.8.Responsible for 5s program in Facilities department.9.Troubleshoot/repair/rebuild custom machinery 10.Interact with outside contractors11.Ensure all facility and equipment preventive maintenance programs are in place and completed
Qualifications
EDUCATION:•High school diploma or GED required.EXPERIENCE:•3-5 years of facilities experience required.•Electrician’s experience preferred•HVAC and Plumbing experience preferred•Machine shop equipment, PLC, bearings and gears, pumps and seals and safety codes and regulations experience preferred.SKILLS:•Certified Forklift Operator and scissor lift.•Mechanical ability•Ability to create custom fixturing•Basic electrical•Pipe fitting
Closing Statement
The starting compensation for this position is set at $25.50 per hour.
