The Boeing Company is currently seeking a F-15QA Experienced Simulator Technician-3  in Qatar

Upon acceptance to this role, this candidate will be deploying to Al Udeid AB, Qatar (Doha).

International relocation assignment benefits will be provided.

This is a Long-Term Assignment to Qatar for a minimum of 2 years.

Relocation/assignment benefits to the international location will be provided.  Ability to meet International assignment health requirements required.  If accompanied, family must also meet international assignment health requirements.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Perform general inspections for pre-operations, post-operations and component handling of training device;

  • Conduct functional tests of training device systems and monitors device instrumentation and bench mounted equipment.

  • Perform general inspections for pre-operations, post-operations and component handling of training devices, assemblies and components;

  • Collaboratively work with lead tech to repair and test, install, upgrade and assist in the modification of simulators and training components, devices, hardware and software;

  • Conduct functional tests of training device systems and monitors device instrumentation and bench mounted indicators;

  • Analyze computer components and software applications;

  • Assist engineers in troubleshooting systems and configuring support equipment;

  • Troubleshoot to isolate faults and repair faulty components;

  • Work under limited supervision

  • Demonstrated ability to work well in diverse teams

  • Proficient in reading and interpreting drawings, schematics, and diagrams.

This position requires an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance.  (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)

Long-term Assignment details:

  • Candidate must be able to obtain a work visa, depending on requirements of the country.

  • Candidate must be able to meet the cultural requirements of the country, as applicable.

  • Employment is contingent on the candidate’s ability to satisfy all labor and immigration formalities of the country.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3&43; years of experience with electronic hardware testing and troubleshooting

  • 3&43; years’ flight simulator experience

  • 3&43; years of experience reading and understanding engineering drawing and schematics

  • 3&43; years of proficient experience using Windows OS platforms

Preferred Experience (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3 or more years related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 3&43; years of experience working with Avionic / Flight Simulation equipment

  • Experience working with international customers

Typical Education/ Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 3 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor&43;1 years related work experience, 5 years related work experience, etc.).
