Requirements:
• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of sheet metal airframe assembly experience required
• Schedule: 06:45 AM - 03:15 PM [Lunch: 11:30 AM - 12:00 PM]
Job Description:
• Responsible for the assembly of complete prototype and production aircraft, and test articles by installing a variety of sheet metal, composite, and/or machined assemblies for new or modified articles according to engineering instructions.
• Support lesser grade team members in the proper assembly and installation of major aircraft assemblies, as required to meet engineering and schedule objectives.
• Ensure foreign object prevention in all articles and aircraft assigned.
• Familiar with the proper use of assembly tooling and fixtures, as well as various precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, scales, and all types of gauges.
• May build shop-aids, jigs, and fixtures for Experimental projects.
• Responsible for own work.
• Perform other related duties as required.
