Job Description:

Argus Platinum certified Part 135 operator with a fleet of 8 jets, (comprised primarily of Hawker 800XPs and also includes 10 or more aircraft) is looking for an energetic and motivated team player to join our maintenance department as the Director of Maintenance (DoM).

This DoM position will be based at the company’s permanent office in Reno, Nevada (one of the most rapidly growing cities in the country). The candidate needs to live in Reno or be willing to relocate to Reno permanently. Reasonable relocation assistance would be provided.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

The DoM role will be mostly managerial. You will need to administer processes, lead regulatory compliance, and reformat the Maintenance Department to the growing scope of the operation. Establishing its own part 145 is also being considered in the mid-term.

Job Requirements:
  • You must hold a mechanic certificate with airframe and powerplant ratings and either:
    • Have 3 years of experience within the past 6 years maintaining aircraft as a certificated mechanic, including experience in maintaining jets; or
    • Have 3 years of experience within the past 6 years repairing aircraft in a certificated airframe repair station, including 1 year in the capacity of approving jets for return to service.
