Duration: 6 Months Contract (Possibly Longer)

Job Summary

  • Under general supervision, assembles PC boards and assembled solder final assembly using assembly instructions/drawings/process specifications and various small hand tools, builds various electronic assemblies to meet specifications
  • Using solder irons, solders assemblies in accordance with process instructions
  • Visually inspects assemblies to ensure compliance to specifications
  • Fills out and maintains necessary paperwork
  • Ensures paperwork is compliant with quality instructions and manufacturing job instructions
  • Actively participates in the Quality Improvement System

Primary Responsibilities

  • Using assembly drawings assembles electronic PC boards from various components to meet specifications.
  • Checks and preps parts prior to assembly.
  • Maintain the highest ethical standards, even when challenged from above
  • Performs other duties as required

 

 

Job Requirements:

Basic Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education equivalent certificate
  • Experience with soldering
  • Ability to successfully assemble various configurations of final assembly and subassembly parts and components
  • Ability to read and follow manufacturing and process specifications and schematics
  • Previous experience with small hand tools and soldering irons
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
