APG Mechanic

Contract Position
Our Support in Greenville, South Carolina site is the home of the F-16 Fighting Falcon production line and provides nose-to-tail aircraft modification, maintenance, repair and overhaul services for both military and civil aircraft. For more than 35 years, the site has provided world-class and affordable sustainment services to thousands of aircraft, such as the C-130, P-3, KC-10, and C-9.

Responsibilities:
- Perform/assist with all launch, recovery, preflight/thru flight/Basic Post Flight inspections, ground handling, maintenance, engine runs, operational checkouts, and servicing.
- Perform routine troubleshooting, installation, repair and maintenance of all electro-mechanical and Pnuedralic systems and components on the aircraft.
- Responsible for the acceptableness of all electrical, hydraulic-pneumatic, propulsion, landing gear, flight control surfaces and periodic inspections, general airframe condition, aircraft furnishings and crew escape system of the aircraft.
- Remove panels and associated hardware to obtain access equipment requiring repair.
Qualifications:
- Must have minimum of 4 years F-16 or other legacy fighter heavy maintenance experience
- Must be able to work first or second shift
- Military Fighter aircraft experience (F-16 preferred)
- Must be able to work first or second shift
- No tools Required
- Technical Skills:
- Fighter Experience (F16, F18, F22, F35) with 4-6 years of experience.
