Wanted: Self-Motivated Licensed Aircraft Technician!

Angelo Precision Aircraft, LLC seeks a skilled and driven Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Technician (Airframe and Power Plant Technician) to join our team. As a technician, you'll be responsible for conducting maintenance, repair, and inspection tasks on various aircraft types.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Routine Maintenance: Conduct scheduled maintenance, inspections, and repairs on aircraft as outlined in maintenance manuals, manufacturer specifications, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on aircraft, their systems, components, and avionics equipment.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Identify and address potential issues through proactive maintenance tasks, ensuring the continuous airworthiness of our aircraft.
  • Modifications and Upgrades: Assist in the installation of modifications, upgrades, and enhancements to aircraft systems and avionics, adhering to engineering specifications.
  • Inspections: Perform 100-hour/Annual Inspections on general aviation aircraft.
  • Minor and Major Repairs: Undertake repairs on general aviation aircraft, ranging from minor to major, as required.

Sign-On Bonus Available for Qualified Candidates:

Up to $3,000.00 sign-on bonus is available for experienced licensed Airframe and Powerplant Technicians, particularly those with experience on small general aviation aircraft and piston-powered engines. Robinson Helicopter experience is a plus, and Inspector Authorization is beneficial.

Job Requirements:
  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate is required.
  • Prior experience as an A&P Mechanic, preferably in a small general aviation.
  • Strong mechanical and technical aptitude with a thorough understanding of aircraft systems and components.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and promoting safety best practices.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that may involve bending, stooping, and lifting heavy equipment.
  • Inspector Authorization is a Plus
  • Robinson Helicopter Mechanical experience is a plus.
Salary Range: $27.00-$39.00
