Airframe & Powerplant Technicians: 47403

STS Aviation Services is seeking certified Airframe & Powerplant Technicians for a position in Melbourne, Florida. The ideal candidates will have a minimum of 24 months of applicable experience on commercial and large regional aircraft, specializing in repair, modification, and overhaul.

• Perform overhauls, diagnostics, and repairs of aircraft hydraulic and pneumatic systems and components.
• Examine and inspect aircraft components, including landing gear, hydraulic systems, and deicers to locate cracks, breaks, leaks, or other problems.
• Conduct routine and special inspections as required by regulations.
• Conduct various repairs involving part locations and replacements, with the ability to read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals, structural repair manuals, safety manuals, illustrated parts catalogs, FAA regulations, Airworthiness Directives, and blueprints to determine the feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components.
• Remove and repair or replace any and all parts using accepted/approved data.
• Maintain repair logs, documenting all preventive and corrective aircraft maintenance.
• Demonstrate knowledge of aircraft systems and components.
• Follow safety rules and procedures, as well as FAA and company policies and procedures.

• The workload primarily involves CRJ C Checks and A320 C Checks.
• Other scheduled projects include WiFi installations, cockpit modifications, and interior reconfigurations.

• No less than 24 months of applicable experience on commercial and large regional aircraft repair, modification, and overhaul.
