Job Title: Aircraft Technician (Kinston NC)Job Description
Aircraft Technicians will perform heavy maintenance (C & D checks, calendar checks) for ATR-72, ATR-42, and Cessna Caravan aircraft. The role also includes maintenance for ERJ 145 aircraft. Typical duties include working on flight controls, tearing out and reinstalling interior components, performing corrosion control, removing and replacing landing gear, conducting minor electrical work, removing and replacing engines, and performing minor structural repairs.
Responsibilities
- Perform heavy maintenance (C & D checks, calendar checks) on ATR-72, ATR-42, Cessna Caravan, and ERJ 145 aircraft.
- Work on flight controls and tear out and reinstall interior components.
- Perform corrosion control and remove and replace landing gear.
- Conduct minor electrical work and remove and replace engines.
- Perform minor structural repairs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Military Aviation experience from Navy, Army, Marines, or Airforce is valued.
- Any type of aviation maintenance experience is applicable, including helicopter experience.
- Candidates must have their own tools, with tools needing to be etched and shadowed.
- A&P License is NOT required.

Work Environment
The work is conducted in a large hangar at the Kinston Regional Jetport that can hold up to 4 ATRs. The schedule for the first shift is from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Sunday to Wednesday, or Wednesday to Saturday. Second shift positions will become available at a later date, and candidates may eventually be asked to work the second shift.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $27.00 - $30.00/hr.
