Job Title: Aircraft Technician in Kansas City, MOJob Description
The Aircraft Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, disassembling, and servicing aircraft, components, and engine systems for commercial aircraft. This role involves performing maintenance, rework, repair, and adjustments of various aircraft systems and structures in compliance with technical specifications, engineering instructions, and FAA regulations, with a focus on safety and quality.
Responsibilities
- Maintain aircraft, components, and systems as assigned, ensuring compliance with specifications and FAA regulations.
- Troubleshoot system and component malfunctions, performing necessary maintenance or rework using various tools and diagnostic devices.
- Remove and replace defective components.
- Conduct full video Borescope/Boreblend and Engine Preservation tasks.
- Perform APU run & check.
- Disassemble aircraft and components (teardown).
- Conduct preflight/postflight turnaround inspections and servicing as assigned.
- Perform maintenance on Ground Service Equipment, as needed.
- Maintain all pertinent documentation and maintenance records, including logbooks, 8130’s, and historical data.
- Clean and maintain the exterior and interior of aircraft.
- Interpret technical drawings for assembly and disassembly tasks.
Requirements
- 1+ year of aircraft maintenance experience
- Must be able to provide your own basic tools

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr.
