ABOUT US:
 SEAL Aviation is a specialized mobile maintenance service company which is seeking an experienced and no experience. SEAL Aviation performs specialized aircraft maintenance by combining the 3 highly specialized services of fuel tank maintenance, heavily structural repairs and non-destructive testing. We are looking for structural technicians for locations at South Florida, Chattanooga TN, and Wichita KS
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREA:
  • Self-Motivated
  • Perform light to heavy structural and sheet metal repairs 
  • Inspect and evaluate aircraft structures and related components
  • Restore and repair defects using unique aircraft fastening hardware, ferrous and non-ferrous materials, composite materials, adhesives and paint and textiles.
  • Fabricate and install aircraft structural components.
  • Construct original aircraft equipment, components and replacement items from base metals using special cutting tools.
  • Conduct corrosion control inspections of ferrous and non-ferrous materials.
  • Inspects all work and tasks performed on work site to ensure quality and precision.
  • Ensures work orders are completed to FAA specifications. 
Job Requirements:
Candidate will need to have the following experience:
  • Work with minimal supervision.
  • Preferred knowledge of aircraft structures and components. 
  • Preferred knowledge of maintenance manuals, illustrated parts catalogue, structural repair manuals
  • Will work with the rules and regulations of FAR 145 repair station
  • Work as a mobile technician
  • Will perform inspections of the aircraft
  • Will remove and reinstall fasteners, ream and install oversize fasteners
    identify and install blind fasteners
  • Will properly remove sealant and reseal completed work within fuel tanks
  • Will use calibrated equipment.
  • Domestic and International travel required
  • Desired but not required; Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical aircraft school.
  • Work with Engineering 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Able to tolerate exposure to dust, fumes, noise, temperature extremes and other elements relative to the production shop environment.
  • Able to work overtime, if required.
  • Work in confined space
  • Able to work in all types of weather elements example heat and cold temperatures.
  • Must not present a risk of injury to self or others while engaged in repair station duties.
  • Must comply with repair stations drug-free workplace policy.

EDUCATION:

  • Read, Write, and Speak English.

ADDITIONAL:

  • Have a valid Driver’s License, and reliable transportation.
  • Must have basic structural tools 
  • Passport Preferred
  • Applicants will be subject to drug and alcohol testing under FAA regulations
