Job Description:

This Aircraft Maintenance Technician supports our Medical Transport Team by ensuring the airworthiness of our assets to rescue and transport patients to higher levels of care. We have bases across the Intermountain West to support the health and well-being of remote communities. 

This technician will work on Bell 407 and 429 Helicopters or PC 12 airplanes in northern New Mexico and satellite locations. The schedule is 20 days on / 10 days off with 40 hours per week. The hourly range for this position is $33.04 to $50.27 depending upon experience.

Our Aircraft Maintenance Technician: 

  • Performs daily aircraft maintenance for aircraft at their home base and satellite locations.
  • Coordinates and completes scheduled maintenance and inspections promptly.
  • Documents, maintains, and completes aircraft records in accordance with FAA and Intermountain requirements.
  • Tracks aircraft inspection, component due times, and completion of tasks.
  • Troubleshoots systems including flight controls, engines, hydraulics, fuel systems, and mechanical components.
  • Maintains company-owned special tools and equipment in good working order. Ensures calibration requirements are met.
  • Assists as requested in the transport of equipment and supplies.
Job Requirements:
  • Current Federal Aviation Airframe & Power Plant license. 
  • Demonstrated aviation maintenance experience.
  • Working knowledge of both fixed-wing and rotor-wing aircraft and turbine engines. 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Bell 407 and 429 experience with factory training.
  • Understanding/proficiency in track and balance and equipment procedures.
  • Advanced Troubleshooting Training / Experience. 
Salary Range: 33.04-50.27
Travel: will cover locations in Los Alamos area
