DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Aircraft Maintenance Technician
- Read and interpret manuals to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs for equipment and instrumentation.
- Read and interpret electrical and electronic diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.
- Read and interpret mechanical part, assembly, and installation drawings.
- Document complete and accurate records of inspections and work performed.
- Ability to be a team player by showing strong customer service, communication skills, and self-motivation.
- Aircraft Maintenance Technician, Senior (in addition to AMT)
- Experience with Beechcraft King Air aircraft.
- Perform part, assembly, and installation conformity to drawings.
- Experience with electrical, mechanical and avionics troubleshooting.
- Experience with phase inspections.
- Experience with corporate interior.
DISTINGUISHING FEATURES:
Aircraft Maintenance Technician:
Under general supervision, perform maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, overhaul, testing, and general preventive maintenance on university research and transportation aircraft in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations, manufacturers’ requirements, and the highest quality industry standards.
Aircraft Maintenance Technician, Senior:
Under limited supervision, perform maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, overhaul, testing, and general preventive maintenance on university research and transportation aircraft in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations, manufacturers’ requirements, and the highest quality industry standards.
