Aircraft Avionics Technician

Avionics Technicians will be working on the A119 (TH-73) commercial helicopters. Responsibilities include assembling, modifying, and installing wire bundles, conductors, and other electrical components. The role requires clearly documenting work performed, controlling equipment status tags, logging critical information during installation, and verifying parts requests. Technicians must read and interpret schematics, assembly drawings, process specifications, wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and written instructions. The position also involves using a variety of manual hand tools such as crimpers, strippers, wire cutters, heat shrink guns, and complex, specialized aircraft test equipment. Effective communication, both oral and written, with other employees and supervisors is required. Duties must be performed on all shifts without encumbrances due to weather or physical location and conditions, and while wearing required safety equipment.
