Honeywells ACST Team isseeking a curious and mission-driven Advanced Mechanical Design Engineer tojoin our Environments and Infrastructure team in Broomfield, CO.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Implementing sample environments in support of laboratory experimentation
Developing and designing architectures involving heat and fluid flow in cryogenic environments
Supporting the design and development of integrated solutions with cryogenics being a key component
The annual base salary for this position is $92,800.00- $$139,000.00 Please note that this salary information serves as a generalguideline. YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering, or mathematics
  • Experience working with working with isothermal, multiphase, and/or recuperative heat exchangers
  • Experience designing and running experiments
  • US Citizenship to obtain or maintain a security clearance

WE VALUE

  • Masters or above in Mechanical Engineering with 0-4 years of industry experience depending on educational background
  • Proven track record of working with systems investigating physical phenomena, particularly thermal fluids, multiphase fluids, and/or supercritical CO2
  • Proven track record of heat exchanger design.
  • Previous experience mentoring/leading teams and helping to build team skills
  • Experience developing and implementing test plans, with the ability to adapt to unexpected test conditions and experimental.
  • Demonstrated ability to design, analyze, operate, build, and test complex systems
  • Demonstrated experience with modeling, simulation tools, and analytical techniques related to fluid dynamics (e.g., Matlab, Mathematica, COMSOL, Python, LabVIEW)
  • Current security clearance for work on government contracts
