A&P Mechanic

Job Description:

Job Summary:

Experienced Aircraft Turbine Engine Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will perform routine inspections, repairs, and maintenance on aircraft engines and related systems, ensuring compliance with relevant maintenance manuals and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform periodic inspections of engines and aircraft systems, including thrust reversers, Major Periodic Inspection (MPI), and Hot Section Inspection (HSI)

Troubleshoot and repair basic engine and related aircraft problems at on-site and off-site locations

Assist in complex engine and related aircraft repairs at on-site and off-site locations

Perform removal, installation, and replacement of engines, accessories, and Line Replace Units (LRU) as required

Disassemble, inspect, and reassemble aircraft engines

Assist with fueling/defueling aircraft, engine operational checks, and functional tests

Assist Aviation Maintenance Technicians in operating ground support equipment (GSE) and troubleshooting/repairing aircraft

Perform basic sheet metal and electrical repairs as required

Access and re-install aircraft components as necessary

May perform Designated Inspector (DI) function as qualified by QA

Assist other employees in performing their duties within area(s) of qualification

Requirements:

Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license

Typically 3 years experience in aircraft turbine engine maintenance

Ability to read and interpret engineering documents and repair manuals
