A&P Mechanic

Position Requirements:

• Must have a valid FAA A&P Certification
• Minimum 4 years of aircraft maintenance experience (rotorcraft experience required)
• Experience with Bell rotorcraft is preferred

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform inspections and maintenance, including the removal and repair of airframe and engine components
• Conduct basic sheet metal repairs
• Complete major inspections and repairs
• Remove, inspect, and install drive train components
• Assist with post-maintenance flight tests
• Use basic hand tools and airframe-specific tools safely and appropriately
• Read and interpret installation instructions, maintenance manuals, and drawings
• Accurately document all work performed in work orders
• Work effectively as part of a team to ensure high-quality and timely aircraft maintenance
• Demonstrate safe work habits and always wear proper PPE
• Perform other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry objects up to 25 lbs. and team-lift up to 50 lbs.
• Capable of kneeling, squatting, sitting, crawling, climbing stairs, ladders, and work stands for extended periods
• Ability to stand throughout the entire shift
• Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for handling small components and tools
• Flexibility to bend, stoop, and crouch as required
• Good vision to focus on small details and identify defects
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and supervisors
• Willingness to follow instructions and seek clarification when needed
