A&P Mechanic

The A&P Mechanic is responsible for the efficient execution of tasks assigned by their Manager. The A&P Mechanic performs tasks with efficiency and quality standards while utilizing the applicable technical data relative to work performed including but not limited to maintenance and inspection, troubleshooting, repair, and modifications.

Description:
  • Perform scheduled/unscheduled maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs.
  • Ensure compliance with FAA and company policies in all maintenance tasks.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities per FAA and company requirements.
  • Monitor systems and components to prevent critical issues.
  • Provide mentorship to junior technicians as needed.
  • Coordinate with the parts department to ensure timely availability of tools and materials.
  • Execute safety protocols and conduct final inspections for airworthiness.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • FAA Mechanics Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant rating.
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in business/corporate jet maintenance environment, preferably on Falcon or Challenger aircraft.
  • Demonstrated organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Read and interpret aircraft diagrams, charts and schematics.
  • Lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must not be allergic to fuels, oils, hydraulic fluids and cleaning solvents.
  • Work and bend in a confined workspace.
  • Must have manual dexterity required for technician.
  • Must be able to repeatedly enter and exit aircraft using stationary steps/stairs.
  • Knowledgeable and experienced in using computers and aircraft software.
