A&P/IA Mechanic. - Detroit, Michigan

MyFlight Tours is seeking a skilled and experienced A&P Mechanic to join our team. The A&P Mechanic will play a crucial role in ensuring the continued airworthiness and safety of our fleet, which includes Robinson helicopters, Bell helicopter and various other aircraft. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in aircraft maintenance, be detail-oriented, and have a passion for aviation.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and non-routine maintenance tasks on to ensure their safe and reliable operation.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and parts replacement, in compliance with FAA regulations and company procedures.
• Conduct daily pre-flight and post-flight inspections, ensuring the aircraft are in optimal condition for each tour or charter.
• Participate in the development and implementation of maintenance and safety procedures to uphold the highest safety standards.

• FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic Certification.
• IA preferred 
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an A&P Mechanic, with experience in maintaining Robinson Helicopters preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in maintenance tasks.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
