A well-established Part 135 operator is hiring an A&P Mechanic to support a fleet of turboprop aircraft. This is a contract-to-hire position with strong long-term potential and steady night-shift scheduling.
Position Overview
This role supports daily flight operations by performing line, phase, scheduled, and unscheduled maintenance on turboprop aircraft. Ideal for technicians who have at least two years of hands-on experience working with turboprop platforms and want consistent hours in a fast-paced maintenance environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform aircraft launch and recovery for scheduled and unscheduled flights
- Conduct inspections, line maintenance, and phase maintenance on turboprop aircraft
- Troubleshoot electrical, avionics, hydraulic, and mechanical issues
- Support structural repairs and corrosion control tasks
- Complete FAA-compliant documentation and log entries
- Handle part removals, part turn-ins, and reinstallation of components
- Assist with daily hangar operations and maintain a clean, organized work environment
- Provide on-the-job training support when needed
- Follow all safety and regulatory requirements
