Education and/or Experience
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office suite software.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Must either possess an A&P and IA certificates or an approved (signed) FAA Form 8610-2 (Airman Certificate and/or Rating Application) with an inspector's signature.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to the extremes in heat, cold and inclement weather. The work is performed in hanger areas, outdoors, on parked aircraft and sometimes in hazardous noise areas. The employee must often work in confined spaces and in awkward positions. Dirt, dust, grease and aircraft fluids are common in the work place; the employee may be exposed to oil, hydraulic fluid, solvents and hazardous fluids and gases. Cuts, bruises, muscle strain and injury from falls are possible. The employee is subject to injury from actuating flight control surfaces and rotating propellers.
