What you can expect as a Warranty Rotable Administrator at West Star:

This position provides assistance to the Parts, Billing, Parts Sales and Accounting Departments and requires knowledge of aviation parts, aviation maintenance functions, warranty processes, purchasing, accounting and inventory control.  Duties include, but are not limited to, completing core and return to vendor paperwork as required, and processing spares warranty.  Direction of duties will be assigned daily. Work closely with others in a team atmosphere. Will be in daily contact with customers and vendors directly and also via phone and e-mail.

 

You will be ESSENTIAL to many FUNCTIONS including:

  • Process spares warranty claims with parts and service vendors as well as providing internal service to parts, billing department, and accounting.
  • Process return to vendor paperwork and scan back up for follow up
  • Communicate extensively with all vendors and customers on all core and return to vendor situations.
  • Research open spares warranty, core, and return to vendor claims and issue credit or debit to customer or vendor offset accounts.
  • Provide application instruction for credits and invoices to accounting.
  • Assess core billback and denied return fees fees per vendor guidelines and bill accordingly.
  • Maintain all records of rotable and return to vendor transactions
  • Creating invoices for additional charges and non-return of cores
  • Effectively and clearly communicate (i.e., speak, write, read) in English
  • Any other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor or management

What you’ll need to bring with you:

 

Your Education:

A High school diploma or equivalent. A valid driver’s license approved for airline travel and/or a valid passport is ideal, but not mandatory.

 

 

Your Experience :

Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills.

Customer service-oriented.

Knowledge of warranty and accounting processes preferred.

Working knowledge of computers required.

 

Your Initiative:   

We’re looking for team players who are self-motivated and able to perform in a fast paced environment where working under specific deadlines and time constraints will be common. This person will need to have strong attention to detail, be well organized and able to prioritize workload efficiently.

 

Your Sense of Responsibility:      

Attend work every day as scheduled

Notify supervisor in advance of shift starting if unable to work.

Must have reliable transportation to get to work each and every day. 

Work in a team environment 

Self-starter           

Follow West Star Repair Station Manual guidelines to assure traceable and certified products are bought and sold.

Assist in parts inventory management.

Required to follow all processes and procedures in a timely manner.

Responsible for filing warranty claims on fragile, expensive aircraft components.
