General Duties:

This position receives, stores and distributes material, equipment and products within the warehouse, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all job functions.

Essential Job Functions:

•    Organize stock in multiple areas and maintain inventories to include counting and backfilling hardware and components;

•    Deliver part and kit orders to customers and technician’s via forklift, pallet jack, pushcart, or manual carry;

•    Inspect goods for defects and damage when parts and kits are received;

•    Track inventory and file in appropriate system, break-out all parts according to planning to include re-identifying all reinstalls;

•    Gather, pack, and unpack all LRU kitted items (weight avg.-varies) all kits over 50 pounds is a 2 man lift;

•    Organize space in the warehouse and perform cleaning duties;

•    Move all parts with pallet jacks and forklift for staging;

•    Restock materials as required to include moving boxes of hardware and boxes of clamps to and from the hangar floor;

•    Process and package parts (hardware & component’s) in a time efficient manner according to WO’s from planning;

•    Receive the PO’s in the system according to the ARI kits;

•    Additional functions other duties as assigned or required by your supervisor;


Skills and Experiences:

Two (2) years of previous experience with inventory in any industry.  

Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Two (2) years of Microsoft Excel experience

Familiarity with Bill of Materials (BOM)

Two (2) years of picking and pulling parts.

Physical Requirements:

This position requires an initial physical exam upon a contingent offer of employment with a renewed physical exam required every five (5) years.

While performing the duties of this job the employee frequently is required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Ability to work in tight, confined areas. The employee must regularly lift and/or move objects up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 pounds. Ability to stand or bend for prolonged periods of time. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
