Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Supplier Quality Specialist (Associate or Experienced) to join our Aircraft Modification and Modernization team in Oklahoma City, OK.

This site operates with a 9/80 work schedule!

Position Responsibilities:

  • Reviews supplier statements of work and purchase contracts to determine the applicable quality requirements for suppliers
  • Liaise with supplier management on purchase contracts
  • Monitors supplier quality related activities and reports issues
  • Inspects or verifies products for compliance with requirements in Receiving Inspection
  • Supports internal audits of supplier quality processes
  • Participate in root cause correct actions
  • Resolves routine issues and concerns
  • Coordinates and supports process improvements
  • Works under general supervision
  • A team player, able to work in collaborative environment

This position is hybrid. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.  This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.  An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 1&43; year of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3&43; years of experience working with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Lync or Teams

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 1&43; years of Supply Chain experience
  • 1&43; years of experience in Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) and Corrective Action Preventive Action (CAPA)
  • 1&43; years of experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS)
  • Experience managing and organizing multiple deliverables and deadlines with minimal direction

 

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 4 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate &43;2 years related work, Bachelor, etc.).

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
