Job Title: Aviation Data Entry/ Parts Handling Job Description
As a Parts Clerk, you will be responsible for performing daily invoicing of all completed work orders and parts sales. You will receive parts into the inventory software system, assist the Station Manager in coordinating parts orders, and maintain accurate inventory levels. Additionally, you will establish and maintain a file system, perform accurate and on-time EOM close reports, and ensure the overall appearance of the office area. You will also assist in collecting aging receivables, submit daily sales and productivity reports, communicate potential new business opportunities, perform data entry into customers maintenance programs, and process vendor invoices to the corporate office.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily invoicing of all completed work orders and parts sales.
- Receive parts into inventory software system.
- Assist Station Manager in coordinating parts orders.
- Assist Station Manager in maintaining accurate inventory levels.
- Establish and maintain a file system.
- Assist Station Manager in performing accurate and on-time EOM close reports.
- Ensure the overall appearance of the office area.
- Assist Station Manager in collecting aging receivables.
- Submit daily sales and productivity reports.
- Communicate potential new business opportunities to Station Manager.
- Perform data entry into customers maintenance programs as required.
- Assist Station Manager in processing vendor invoices to corporate office.
Essential Skills- Experience with aircraft/GSE parts inventory and SAP.
- Ability to handle parts repair orders and data entry for repair orders.
- Proficiency in coordinating parts transactions.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- High school diploma or GED required; Associates degree preferred.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to obtain an Airport SIDA Badge.
Work EnvironmentThis position is full-time, Monday through Friday, with an 8-hour shift 6:30am-2pm at the MCO airport.
