OnsiteThe Material Handler I – 1st Shift performs a variety of manual/administrative tasks associated with inventory control, stockroom, expediting and shipping and receiving operations in accordance with established procedures.
What You Will Do:
Receives, checks, stores, issues and ships a variety of items and maintains inventory control.
Uses assistance and/or powered mechanical means to load, unload, store and deliver a variety of incoming and outgoing material.
Prepares and packages small and large parts using proper procedures and materials.
Processes purchase orders for spare tooling and materials.
Proficiently uses computer hardware/software.
Oversees parts preparation, material handling, measuring and packaging equipment.
Oversees inventory and maintains all government tooling property according to military regulations.
Uses assorted measuring and weight recording devices.
Keeps equipment and surrounding areas neat and clean.
Performs other related duties as required within the scope of this job function.
Occasionally lift, push, pull, and move up to 50 pounds
Frequently required to stand, walk, and sit.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Requires a HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline.
U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.
Qualifications We Prefer:
Must be comfortable operating a sit down forklift.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English.
Ability to write simple correspondence in English.
Basic PC operational skills including but not limited to using a keyboard, mouse, basic data entry and email.
Prior relevant experience in inventory control or material handling role required.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
Hours: Monday-Thursday 6:00AM-4:30PM (Must be available Friday overtime on an as needed basis)
