JOB SUMMARY:
Under the direction of Supply Chain management, the Senior Procurement Coordinator will develop approved suppliers and is responsible for supplier management. Support Engineering and planning meetings to help develop program requirements. Ensure parts and materials are received with the proper certification and adhere to project schedules and budgets. Prepares request for quotes, Purchase Orders and review supplier proposals.

• Must be able to understand program requirements and monitor costs to adhere to program budgets.
• Be able to produce data in support of program status reports.
• Support Engineering and planning meetings to help develop program requirements.
• Mentor and develop Procurement Coordinators.
• Establish and coordinate vendor terms and conditions to meet the Company and Customer requirements.
• Coordinate approval of all vendors through close coordination with the Quality organization.
• Create and approve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as required.
• Develop Request for Quotes (RFQ) to suppliers.
• Review supplier proposals and ensure all terms and conditions are met.
• Responsible for creating purchase orders to maintain stock levels and demand for parts, raw materials,
outside services, and Engineering Services to support Integration Engineering Programs.
• Able to manage suppliers for Quality and On Time Delivery.
• Aid in the setup of new suppliers, part numbers, and outside services.
• Work with suppliers to expedite part deliveries when needed, track part shortages and provide updates on
part status in support of ongoing Integration Programs.
• Must be familiar with planning and scheduling of parts and installation kit requirements associated with
manufacturing jobs and released engineering utilizing an ERP system.
• Able to interpret Engineering Part Lists, Drawings, and Bill of Materials (BOM).
• Possess a good understanding of Quality and FAA requirements for part certifications, FAIs, PMA,
Conformities, and the paperwork required in support of each.
• Assist Receiving, Planning, Quality and Engineering to solve parts discrepancies and work with suppliers
on Returned material (RMAs), part revisions, and corrective actions.
• Able to provide data to support internal quoting activity with cost and lead times.
• Must have strong communication skills and demonstrate proficiency with MS Office programs.
• Promotes a culture of safety by monitoring self and others to assure all duties are performed within the
guidelines.
• Perform all other duties assigned by Supply Chain Planning Manager.

Required Qualifications:
• Duties require a minimum of 3 years’ experience performing purchasing duties in a manufacturing
environment; including creating purchase orders and managing suppliers.
• Must be self-starter requiring a minimum of supervision and perform with a degree of accuracy in the
execution of job assignments.
• Must be able to read and interpret engineering part lists, drawings, and bill of materials.
• Should have knowledge of typical PC/business software applications (i.e., Excel, Word, PowerPoint
packages and Internet.)
• Must have excellent written and oral communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills are needed to
interact with a wide variety of people.
• Must have good organizational skills, be able to prioritize work, accurately perform duties with constant
activity in the area, and pay close attention to detail.
• Must be able to work under pressure, relate to others and maintain flexibility with schedules of the
department.
• Must read, write, speak and understand the English language.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Must possess a working knowledge of FAA regulations, certification processes, and quality system
requirements.
• Working knowledge of some form of ERP/MRP system
