Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for a Associate Supply Chain Specialist to support the F-15 Supply Chain Planning team based out of Hazelwood, MO.
Position Responsibilities:
- Responsible for monitoring and reporting status of inventory balances, open requirement orders, and overall impacts to contractual metrics.
- Participates in Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) for assigned parts suite.
- Assists in analyzing post production supply chain data to define reorder points and quantities.
- Responds to customer requisitions, initiates shipments, tracks, monitors and coordinates material and delivery requirements to meet customer needs.
- Performs repair induction and shipment transactions for material returned from customers.
- in the analysis of supplier and/or customer data to include repair capabilities, capacity and performance.
- Utilizes internal supply chain software tools to manage inventory and process documentation associated with material transfers, repair items, and warranty claims.
This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 1+ years of experience in finance, supply chain, project management, supplier management, engineering, math, and/or accounting
- 1+ years of experience with Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SI&OP)
- 1+ years of experience working with forecasting, Supply Chain Software Systems, Supply Chain modeling & Simulation tools, and ERP Systems (also including asset management, forecasting, order management, expediting, enterprise resource planning systems and/or sales & operations (S&OP) processes)
- Proficiency and experience working with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, customer service, organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field
- Possess excellent communication skills allowing for cross functional interaction with the Customer, Program, supply chain, contracts, finance, engineering, and quality.
- Experience with asset management systems & tools including supply planning & forecasting tools MS2, SPO, GOLD, TAV, WOW, COPPR, NWP and knowledge of Sales, Inventory, Operations and Planning (SI&OP) is preferred.
- Strong knowledge and experience in military supply support environment including demand and inventory management of company-owned material, customer owned material and program/contract material
- Excellent writing and presentation skills, ability to present complex information in a clear and simple way
Typical Education/Experience:
High school diploma or GED and typically 3 or more years related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
