How youll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities) The Commercial Strategy MBA Program is designed to build a strong, versatile, and values-driven leadership pipeline for Delta. With ever-changing business needs, Delta seeks MBA talent to solve some of our biggest challenges and ensure a competitive position in the spanetplace. This 12-week summer internship centers on a high-impact strategic project in one of the below Commercial departments located in our Atlanta, GA headquarters. Throughout the summer, interns will also collaborate and engage with colleagues in the Finance MBA Intern program and across the operational teams, gaining exposure to enterprise-wide decision-making and what it truly means to lead at Delta. Potential Commercial department placements for interns include: PRICING & REVENUE MANAGEMENT: Optimize Delta’s product pricing over millions of route and date combinations to grow revenue and provide customer choice leveraging deep analytical insights, industry-leading tools and technology, and cross-commercial engagement. NETWORK (ROUTE) PLANNING: Maximize system profitability by aligning capacity with demand through the disciplined deployment of aircraft, including optimization of scheduled flight times, spanet level capacity, and development of high-value new route opportunities.GLOBAL SALES & DISTRIBUTION: Improve the value proposition for Delta’s corporate clients by evaluating the financial impact of incentive programs and designing data-driven sales strategies that drive incremental revenue. Leverage technology to deliver consistent Delta products across all channels, strengthening customer trust and confidence in Delta as a retailer.CUSTOMER ENGAGEMENT & LOYALTY: Leverage data-driven insights to monitor performance, identify trends, and refine offerings across the SkyMiles ecosystem—including Medallion elite benefits, Sky Club experiences, and the American Express co-brand partnership—to deepen engagement and loyalty among Delta’s most valuable customers.RESERVATIONS: Develop recommendations for process improvements for reservations centers, call-handling strategies, and customer segmentation to enhance service quality, increase employee engagement, and drive cost efficiencies.Compensation for this internship is provided at $9,493 per month, subject to applicable taxes and withholdings.

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications) Current MBA StudentMust complete the first year of an MBA Program by the Summer of 2027Must have a planned MBA program graduation date by the Summer of 2028At least three years (36 months) of post-undergraduate work experience in a dynamic, professional environment or relevant military experienceMust be able to work onsite in our Atlanta, GA office for the duration of the internshipCuriosity about the airline industryAnalytical and creative problem solvingConsistent track record of excellenceAbility to excel in fast-paced, matrix-team environmentStrong analytical, leadership, and communication (written and verbal) skillsEmbraces diverse people, thinking, and stylesPossesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalencyIs at least 18 years of age and has permanent authorization to work in the United States
