Job Summary:

Fabricate, develop, build, sew, and cover aircraft soft goods, including crew seats, passenger seats, divans, side ledges, headliners, and other interior soft goods, following employer standards and quality guidelines.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• 5+ years of upholstery experience (auto, yacht, aviation, or similar)
• Ability to align intricate designs in fabrics
• No allergies to chemicals, solvents, paints, adhesives, natural or manmade materials, fabrics, or feathers
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to work in confined spaces and unusual positions
• Ability to lift and transport up to 40 lbs.
• Visual capacity and muscular dexterity for fine detail work

Job Responsibilities:

• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and company standards
• Perform calculations using shop math
• Maintain proper maintenance practices and quality standards
• Correctly handle and use tools, chemicals, and adhesives
• Disassemble and reassemble vendor passenger seats and divans
• Prep and cover upholstered panels with foams, fabrics, leathers, and styling
