Aircraft Cabin Installer

Job Description

Main responsibility is the cabin furnishing of the aircraft for the final assembly line. Focusing on a specified area such as cabin equipment, floor covering, cockpit, cargo, and doors.

Responsibilities

• Assemble interior furnishing and equipping parts, including cockpit, doors, galleys, toilets, and floor covering.
• Install and test electrical units and components.
• Inspect work of other team members and complete systems before customer acceptance.
• Install and manufacture components and parts (e.g., marking, connecting, assembling, bundling, painting, fitting, torquing, bonding, attaching, disassembling, positioning, and repairs).
• Determine ways to eliminate disruptions and rework.
• Perform presentations to the customer.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Use of tooling, design documents, specifications, test and inspection equipment, jigs, auxiliary equipment, and fasteners.
• Ability to work in confined spaces.
• Flexibility and ability to work well with others.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to successfully complete provided trainings: Health & Safety, General aircraft familiarization, and Quality trainings.
• Preferred: Training from a vocational school or previous employer in the use of application tools and techniques.
• 2+ years of experience in Aviation Production or equivalent.
• Previous hands-on experience with drilling tools, templates, drilling machines, fasteners, and torquing tools.
• Preferred: 3+ years of experience in Aviation Production.
