Job Title: Aircraft Cabin InstallerJob Description
Main responsibility is the cabin furnishing of the aircraft for the final assembly line. Focusing on a specified area such as cabin equipment, floor covering, cockpit, cargo, and doors.
Responsibilities
- Assemble interior furnishing and equipping parts, including cockpit, doors, galleys, toilets, and floor covering.
- Install and test electrical units and components.
- Inspect work of other team members and complete systems before customer acceptance.
- Install and manufacture components and parts (e.g., marking, connecting, assembling, bundling, painting, fitting, torquing, bonding, attaching, disassembling, positioning, and repairs).
- Determine ways to eliminate disruptions and rework.
- Perform presentations to the customer.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills- Use of tooling, design documents, specifications, test and inspection equipment, jigs, auxiliary equipment, and fasteners.
- Ability to work in confined spaces.
- Flexibility and ability to work well with others.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to successfully complete provided trainings: Health & Safety, General aircraft familiarization, and Quality trainings.
- Preferred: Training from a vocational school or previous employer in the use of application tools and techniques.
- 2+ years of experience in Aviation Production or equivalent.
- Previous hands-on experience with drilling tools, templates, drilling machines, fasteners, and torquing tools.
- Preferred: 3+ years of experience in Aviation Production.
Work Environment
Manufacturing environment.
