Job Title: Procurement
Job Type: Full Time; Consultant (3 months)
Location: Kinston, NC
Schedule: 1st shift, 8am to 5pm
Pay Rate: $48 - $51 per hour
Description:
We are seeking a skilled Procurement Consultant to join our team in Kinston, NC. This position involves conducting, managing, and maintaining synchronization of a supply chain for obtaining goods and services for the company. The ideal candidate will have strong interfacing skills with internal and external customers and suppliers and be able to manage various supplier-related activities effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as an authorized agent of the company with responsibility for managing all supplier-related activities and the authority to commit company resources through contracts and agreements.
Develop requests for quotations and proposals, analyze supplier responses, negotiate and award contracts, and manage post-award supplier activities.
Interface with internal and external customers and suppliers.
Manage inventory levels, simulation, modeling forecasting data, and supplier performance.
Monitor customer inventory demand and material assets to optimize total supply chain planning.
Incorporate planning decisions from customers and suppliers to reduce material and product variability and arrive at optimal solutions.
Requirements:
6-9 years of experience with a BA, or 4-7 years with an MBA.
Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to manage supplier relationships and contract agreements.
Experience in inventory management and supply chain optimization.

Pay Details: $48.00 to $51.00 per hour
