Interim Financial Accountant; Kirkbymoorside North Yorkshire; 4 Month Contract; 37 hrs pw; 18.19 ph PAYE
We currently have a requirement for an Interim Financial Accountant working for our client based in Kirkbymoorside ( YO62 area) The role is to enable a smooth transition of accounts processes from a leaver to the new incumbent.
The ideal candidate would have a broad understanding of finance:
• Sales Ledger and Invoicing
• Purchase ledger 3way matching and payment runs.
• GRNI / Accruals
• Cash flow and Banking.
• A good understanding of monthly close processes
• Time recording of staff including Overtime calculations.
• Fixed Assets
• Understanding of Balance sheet, P&L and Reporting would also be advantageous.
The successful candidate will be part or fully qualified and will be required I involve working closely with the current person, documenting, and verifying processes, then training the new hire in the processes that are in place . Candidates should be able to display a good understanding of finance, with ideally experience of working within a manufacturing environment . Strong Excel skills are required and any knowledge / experience of using IFS would be advantageous.
Additionally, candidates should be a team player with strong integrity, a determined self-starter with good communication skills.
