Incumbent of this position serves as Financial Specialist providing financial system support.

Duties

Performs basic but progressively more difficult assignments under the close direction of a manager, project/program manager, team leader, or more experienced professional. Typically acts as a member of a team for projects/programs within a defined area of responsibility.

Applies basic knowledge in the creation of financial system queries and reports in conjunction with co-workers, analyzes and briefs on performance indicators for multiple customers. Identifies and coordinates corrective actions to resolve complex mission-related problems. Assists In the planning and preparation of system implementation efforts and provides written responses to advanced-level request for information. Drafts operational instructions for changes to current processes or to implement new processes within the organization. Acts as a liaison between the organization and customer management.

Established policies/procedures provide detailed guidance for almost all assignments, with little or no room for discretion. Works under detailed instructions provided by the manager or more experienced professional. Regularly refers problems and work issues to a manager, project/program manager, or more experienced professional for guidance. Work is reviewed regularly during assignments and at the completion to ensure timeliness and all aspects of quality.

Personal contacts are both internal and external to include AMK-300 management, staff members, DOT and FAA personnel. customers staff and management. Required daily contact with customers both internally and externally to exchange information and explain the application of policies and procedures.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position at the FV-F (FG/GS 5-9) level, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least 3 years of progressively responsible general work experience, 1 year of which was equivalent to at least FG/GS-4, that demonstrates the ability to:(1) analyze problems to identify significant factors; gather pertinent data; recognize solutions; (2) plan and organize work and (3) Communicate effectively orally and in writing.


OR

Education Substitution:
Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study in any field leading to a bachelor's degree, gained from an accredited college or university.


OR


COMBINATION OF EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE may be qualifying for this position.

Salary Range: $53,259 - $79,892
