Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Experienced Procurement Agent to join our Executive Transport team in either San Antonio or Dallas, Texas, Berkeley, Hazelwood or Saint Charles, Missouri, El Segundo, Huntington Beach, Long Beach or Seal Beach, California, Huntsville, Alabama, Arlington, Virginia, Mesa, Arizona, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Ridley Park, Pennsylvania or Seattle, Washington!

At Boeing, our Experienced Procurement Agent will use their expertise to support supply chain activities at the Boeing Company. In joining this program, you will be part of an outstanding team of supply chain experts making history as we shape this one of a kind next generation Aircraft.
Position Responsibilities:
Provides oversight and management of supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance.
Leads negotiation of pricing and contract terms and conditions.
Prepares and executes negotiation strategies resulting in contractual documents and binding agreements.
Interprets and enforces contract terms and conditions.
Consults with external customers to resolve supplier performance issues.
Leads supplier performance teams to develop strategic supplier solutions across programs and commodities.
Participates on supply chain process improvement teams and identifies improvement opportunities for potential integration into supplier contract strategies.
This position is hybrid. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

This position is for 1st shift.
Security Clearance and Export Control Requirements:
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (An Interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post Start is required.)
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5&43; years of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services.
5&43; years of experience working with Supplier Management, Supply Chain, and/or Procurement practices and processes.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree or higher.
5&43; years of experience in Supplier Management/ Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer.
5&43; years of experience in Contracts & Pricing and/or Supplier Management Procurement.
5&43; years of experience interpreting and/or enforcing contract terms and conditions.
5&43; years of experience with various contract types for example: Time & Materials, Firm Fixed Price, Cost Plus type Government contracts, etc.
5&43; years of experience working with U.S. Department of Defense contracts.
5&43; years of experience with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations).
5&43; years of experience and/or training with the Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA).
Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master&43;8 years related work experience, 14 years related work experience, etc.).
Relocation:
Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
Travel:
Position may require travel up to 10 of the time.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary Pay Range: $88,400 - $126,000
