Job Description:
Responsibilities

  • Annual Budgeting: Coordinate with the assigned business division to create an annual budget that model all operating expenses, staffing requirements, and capital expenditures.

  • Forecast Updates: Coordinate with the assigned business division to maintain an updated financial outlook, capturing the latest decisions and changes occurring in the business unit.

  • Variance Analysis: Evaluate cost trends and variances in order to identify main drivers and changes in the business, in order to provide valuable feedback to the business unit and drive corrective actions.

  • Month-end financial close process: Set up journal entries to account for the expenses incurred in the month. Perform reconciliations for general ledger accounts, identify, investigate and provide commentary on any variances to the forecast.

  • Contracts & Capital Investments: Evaluate the division’s business cases for new/amended contracts and capital investments and coordinate the company’s internal approval process by distributing the contracts and support documents to the relevant cross-functional stakeholders for review and approval.

  • Ad-Hoc Project Analysis: Provide analytical support for special projects, initiatives, or requests from leadership. Conduct financial analysis on ad-hoc projects to evaluate viability and cost/revenue targets.

 


Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Business, Accounting, Engineering.
  • 1-3 years of experience in Finance, Business, Accounting, Engineering.
  • Proficiency with MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • SAP ECC, SAP BPC, & MS Power BI (Preferred).

  • Advanced analytical skills and ability to problem-solve quickly and accurately.
  • Self-motivated and driven team member.
  • Ability to streamline functions and has a passion for learning and growing.
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Excellent service orientation, including a positive, collegial attitude with a high degree of professionalism.
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and ensure accuracy while meeting rigid firm deadlines.
  • Ability to work well with others in a dynamic team environment.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Must possess a high level of accountability, accuracy, attention to detail, and work ethic.
  • Domestic & International travel under 10 of time.

  • Exerts up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
