T&O Network Data Engineering and Visualization Leader
Job Description:
GE Aerospace is seeking a highly motivated and skilled T&O Network Data Engineering and Visualization Leader to join our team. This role is critical in driving data-driven decision-making and enabling strategic business critical processes such as Long Range Forecasting, Strategic Workforce Planning, Purchase Service Strategy, Normalized Applied Hours etc. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in data analytics, visualization tools, and AI-powered solutions to provide insights that enhance operational efficiency and support strategic initiatives.This role will include ready-to-serve responsibilities focusing on preparing data, answering standard work questions visually, and managing engineered data and visualization change management processes.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Data Analysis and Insights Development:

  • Analyze complex business datasets to generate actionable insights for business processes such as (but not limited to) Long Range Forecasting, Strategic Workforce Planning, Purchase Service Strategy, Normalized Applied Hours etc.
  • Prepare data based on drilldown analysis with SMEs and ensure alignment with Standard Work requirements.
  • Answer questions visually as defined in standard work.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as engineering, finance, HR, Digital Technologies and SMEs to identify requirements, data trends and opportunities for continuous process improvement.
  • Develop and deploy documentation for standard work. Train stakeholders.

2. Engineered Data / Visualization Change Management and Break/Fix:

  • Lead change management efforts for engineered data and visualization updates.
  • Address break/fix issues promptly to ensure data and visualization integrity.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years experience in data analytics, visualization, and tool development.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.  We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Spotfire, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Strong programming skills (e.g., Python, R, SQL).
  • Experience with AI-powered analytics and scenario planning tools.
  • Knowledge of data integration, ETL processes, and data pipeline development.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in aerospace or engineering industries.
  • Basic familiarity with business processes such as Long Range Forecasting, Strategic Workforce Planning, and Purchase Service Strategy.
  • Experience in data engineering and working with SMEs to prepare data aligned with Standard Work.
  • Familiarity with GE Aerospace’s FLIGHT DECK operating model.
  • Knowledge of lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies.

  • Responsive delivery of accurate and actionable data insights and visualizations aligned with Standard Work to support strategic business processes.
  • Improvement in efficiency and decision-making.
  • Positive feedback from stakeholders on data usability and impact.
  • Effective management of engineered data and visualization change processes and resolution of break/fix issues.
